Thank you for being apart of our day! Joel was asked to sing a song for me to walk down the aisle. He was on time and went above and beyond in setting the mood for our wedding. He is easy to talk to and has a beautiful voice to accommodate his skill in playing the guitar.

I lived on a cruise ship for 6 months and Joel was also on the ship as the guitar soloist for maybe half of my cruise contract. I went to see Joel play literally every night of my contract for as long as he was there and this was not even because we were friends, but he genuinely is that good that i loved listening to him so much.
Joel is an exceptional singer (i used to always ask if he's using pitch correction because his voice sounds so flawless live!!) with so much soul in his voice and honestly even songs I personally never liked i would suddenly really love listening to because Joel made his own version out of it and I liked his version more than the original song^^
I promise you if you hire Joel you will be blown away by his incredible talent and he is also an incredibly genuine, kind human being!

I’ll personally connect with you to make sure your event feels seamless, memorable, and stress-free.

Joel Kisakye is fully self-contained and provides professional sound and lighting to create a polished, elevated atmosphere for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. For most events, the only requirement is access to standard power.
Basic requirements:
• One standard 120V power outlet within reasonable distance of the performance area
• A small performance space (approximately 6’ x 6’ or larger)
• Shelter from direct rain or extreme weather for outdoor events
What’s included:
• Professional PA system appropriate for the event size
• Wireless microphones for vocals, speeches, and toasts
• Subtle stage and ambient lighting to enhance the performance area and venue atmosphere
• Acoustic guitar, vocals, backing tracks and all necessary equipment
• Setup and teardown handled by Joel
Music & customization:
• Setlists are thoughtfully tailored to the event, audience, and overall vibe
• Song requests are welcome and incorporated when possible
• Learning new or special-request songs is available upon request and discussed in advance
Additional notes:
• Sound levels are always adjusted to suit the event and remain conversation-friendly when needed
• For larger guest counts or multiple locations (such as ceremony and reception), expanded sound coverage is available and planned ahead of time

Influences and inspiration
My musical influences come from artists known for strong vocals, timeless songwriting, and feel-good grooves. I’ve been influenced by classic soul and Motown artists like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and Bill Withers, as well as iconic pop and R&B artists such as Michael Jackson and John Legend.
I’m also influenced by acoustic and pop artists like John Mayer and Ed Sheeran, along with reggae and island music from Bob Marley. These influences shape a versatile live sound that feels familiar, soulful, and adaptable allowing each performance to be tailored to the event, the audience, and the atmosphere.
Setup requirements
