I'm a one-man-band songwriter. I've written and recorded tons of music. I started my first recordings in 1996 on a cassette four-track to late-90's/early-'00's digital 8-track stuff to my latest work with my Cakewalk Sonar-based computer studio. If only I'd had this setup way back when...
My music ranges from soft acoustic guitar songs to balls-out hard rock and a lot of strange detours in between. Don't even try to pin me down from one or two songs.
Listening to the songs will tell you more about me than anything I could write. I prefer to let the music do the talking,

Ever since I was just a sprout,10-12 years old,when i discovered what a record player,two cheap speakers and Pink Floyd's "The Wall" could invigorate and take me where i need to be. Roger Waters,David Gilmour and Pink Floyd have been my staple.
All the Rock legends of course, Zeppelin,Sabbath,Ac/Dc..etc. Nirvana,Stone Temple Pilots,Alice in Chains,Kings of Leon
Great Country Legends like, Hank Williams SR. Merle Haggard,Johnny Paycheck and Kris Kristofferson.
I'm open to any sensible group Rock or Country,but have rarely amused in the last 10 years of this cookie cutter ,reality star,overly repetitive music industry.It takes more than Prettiness and a hairdo....Imagination helps.
What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 15 - 90 minutes
Michael Robert Talada is an acoustical solo performer whose range of music sounds like every classic rock band into one,with a heavy Floydish accent.
We perform for any size business, party or event. Each 3 hour set contains a mixture of his original music and some great covers. 2-3 breaks are taken to rest voice and fingers.
