About
Born and raised in South Arkansas in the 1970's, K W Hoffman was inspired by various music of the times and the music being played in the area such as Blues from the delta, country, southern rock and classic rock were just some his influences. With a passion for writing songs and later in life while working full time he started playing solo acoustic sets of traditional country, southern rock, classic rock and original music in various bars, clubs, private events, coffee houses, etc. In March 2007 he performed on ABC's "The Next Best Thing" as a Hank Williams Jr. Impersonator. He won KSSN Radio's "Home Grown Artist" of the week in Feb. 2009 and they played some of his original songs on their "Home Grown Country Show". He was Runner Up in a jingle contest for Turtle Wax in 2009.
He was an extra in the movie "Mud" 2012.
He started performing again in 2022 after 10 years in remission for throat cancer and was nominated in 2022 ISSA Male Vocalist of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Song of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and nominations in 2023, 2024 and 2025. He has had his music placed in TV and Movies and had cameo appearances.
His music is currently played on local radio stations and internet stations across the world.
