Premier Disc Jockeys started in 1979 when I was volunteered to provide the music for a company Christmas Party.
During the 80's, I grew my own client base working a few nightclubs (remember Penrod's or The Beer Mug?), but really loved playing Wedding Receptions, Christmas & New Years parties. Also worked with a number of Mobile DJ's, Club DJ's, and Radio Personalities, simply renting equipment and music to some that booked their own parties, and calling on them and others when I had already booked an event for myself on that date. We had enough equipment, music, and support staff to handle as many as 10 events/parties on the same date. MANY of my clients were/are repeat customers and MANY of the DJ's are still good friends and associates.
During the late 90's, I dropped the Yellow Pages advertising, got divorced, trained to drive Tractor/Trailer, and kept only a couple clients including Clayton County Parks - Therapeutic Division. (These are a Wonderful group of people!)
I have recently started promoting myself again. My goal is making your Wedding Reception or other Event a memorable and fun time for you and your guests.
Several things have changed since I started. CD's replaced the Vinyl, Computers have now replaced the CD's. The Sound System is lighter and more portable, but sounds better than ever. The music collection format has changed, but has always been current - and I now carry over 50,000 songs over 36,000 Karaoke tracks (used when requested and appropriate), and over 2,000 Music Videos available.
