About

I grew up as the middle child in a house of three kids. My parents were both immigrants, my mother from Zimbabwe and my father from the Bahamas. Growing up I spent my childhood playing games with flight attendants and cloud watching and running up and down the ailes of an airplane. The more I traveled out of the U.S the more appreciation I began to develop for different styles of music and the universality of music as it moves through a nation's culture. Even as a child, it fascinated me. To this day it still does. It was from then on that I not only decided to dedicate myself to music but also to learn more about each instrument and the performing in general. Therefore, I started playing the violin at age six. From there I joined my school's orchestra and stayed with it for about eight years. Though I lost interest in the violin, it became the basis of my knowledge of music and music theory. From there I moved on to the piano and the guitar. And now I write my own songs, even going so far as to learn a few drum beats and start trying to record them. However professionally, for now, I perform covers of songs, anything from top 40 stuff to broadway classics and even Disney for children's birthday parties. When performing, I usually bring a track with me or if the client requests it, I learn the piece and accompany myself on acoustic while I sing. I am predominately a soloist however there have been times where I've sung harmony for others. As for a large live performance, I would require a band to play with me, should the client need or desire a full on performance. I do not and cannot provide a live band and there is only so much I can do with a guitar. However, feel free to ask me about special requests or performances. I am open to dressing up for children's parties, or special interest groups. I also do spoken word, I dance and if I am able to write songs on the spot, should you so desire a little comedy.

What to Expect

My style of performance again, is also versatile. I can be docile and romantic, or dramatic and lively depending on the song and the feel of the crowd. You may laugh, get up and clap your hands or just wanna start dancing along. I can perform most types of music in about 3 languages, either arias, art songs, classical, pop/rock etc. musical theatre
