My name is TJ Scronce and I'm the Charlotte area's best Pirate Impersonator for hire. Whether you're looking for a complete historical pirate to duel it out with another or everyone's favorite on-screen pirate; Captain Jack, I'm the man for the job!

I have two outfits I can wear to your event. One outfit is that of Disney's Captain Jack Sparrow. This outfit is made of the highest quality clothing and is screen accurate to what Johnny Depp himself wore in the movies. Every detail is paid special attention to so as to insure that I give you the best Jack Sparrow possible. My outfit features clothing made by some of the top Sparrow clothiers in the business. If there is any question to how good it may be, you may look at my pictures to see if this is what you want.
If Captain Jack isn't what you're looking for then I have a secondary outfit that is of my own pirate character; Captain James Newcastle. This secondary outfit is of the highest quality as well and also completely homemade to insure that I give you a completely original pirate for your event. Again special attention was paid to every detail to ensure that this outfit is unique and also believable.
Also; I do have a real sword that is part of my outfits along with a replication of a pirate pistol (this replication is a non-firing gun). If these are things you do not want at your event or can not be brought into your event, please inform me of this and they can be left off or (sword only) replaced with a toy. Please be aware that these things are not things I will be allowing the kids to handle unless I am present and can help them with the handling.

I have done work with such charities/organizations as the American Cancer Society, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, and the Lion's Club.
Some event's I've been a part of is the Walk for Life, Unionville's 4th of July Celebration, Matthews Alive Celebration, a few Chick-Fil-A family night events and I have done much work with the Concord Renaissance Festival.
I've also done a lot of work for Porter Ridge High School and The Band of Pirates Marching Band for Porter Ridge High.
As expected; I've also worked many birthday parties ranging for all ages.
I've also had the great pleasure of traveling all across the state of North Carolina and have been a part of many pirate festivals and reenactments. Some noted ones are Greenville's Pirate Fest and the Beaufort Pirate Invasion.
Newly added to my resume is a lesson I taught to a classroom of children about Pirates at Belmont Central Elementary School.

In order to be the best and most accommodating Pirate Impersonator here in North Carolina I have chosen to make my rates much lower than any other Impersonator out there. In Google searching other Sparrow Impersonator's rates I have chosen to be much lower to insure that I give you a quality and affordable act to have at your event.
Rates: Starting at $200.00 for one (1) hour. This flat rate only applies for the first hour; after that there is a supplementary charge for any extra time I stay on location. This charge is due to change dependent on how much extra time I stay. The supplementary charge will increase by $50 for each extra half hour. So if you wish to have me for an hour and a half, that would be a charge of $250.00. If it's going to be two (2) and a half hours, it would be $350.00.
If the distance I have to travel to get to the event is longer than one (1) hour, an extra Traveling Charge will be applied of $30.00. This is simply to supplement gas costs.
Payment is taken in the form of cash or check.
Traveling in my outfit can be difficult and dangerous, so please understand that a very specific start time has to be known so as I can know how long to give myself for travel time.

What I do within the allotted time of your event is up for discussion as to what you need, but will always include me doing my act and handing out fake gold coins to the kids.
I do have activities and games that I can offer if you are in need of something or interested. These games vary and can easily accommodate large numbers or small. All ages are able to play, but for the most part, the games are aimed for a younger crowd. If interested in what I have to offer, please inquire and I can give you detailed descriptions of each. All items needed are supplied by myself, unless you have a game planned yourself, in which case I will need to be informed beforehand about what I will need to do to accurately facilitate the activity.
Note: The gold coins are NOT candy. Thus they should NOT be eaten. Please make sure the children understand, they are not edible. I am not responsible for any child who decides to try to eat the coins.

Influences

Johnny Depp's performances in the hit movie franchise; Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean. For any other pirate character work you may ask for; I pull from research into the subject of true historical pirates from the golden age of piracy.
To be noted: as depending on the age of the crowd I will censor what is needed to ensure that no one is offended.
