A am an experienced professional harpist, pianist and flutist. I provide elegant music to set the tone for events such as weddings, parties, receptions, dinners, art shows, church events, luncheons, teas and more. I also can provide additional musicians to play with me, such as an additional flute, or violin, 'cello or combo. I work with each client personally to individualize the music selections for your event. In addition to standard music, I also play Celtic and Hawaiian pieces, and am unique in this geographic area for having a background in performing and recording both those styles. I also know Victorian era music for teas and other events with a Victorian theme. Let me help your event be really unique!
I am a life-long musician with a Degree in music, and have performed, taught, composed, and recorded in many styles of music, all over the United States including Hawaii, and in several foreign countries. I arrive at the location early after having thoroughly discussed each event with the client or planner so that all details are understood and I am ready to play at the appointed start time. If necessary, I arrange ahead of time for my instrument(s) to be amplified through the on-site sound system, or I bring my own amplifier. I dress and conduct myself professionally at all times. In all my years as a professional musician, I have had only positive feedback--never a complaint! My primary focus is to serve my clients to the best of my ability with the music I offer. I consider my work a service, and it is also my joy!
