Raleigh NC Magician Larry Maitin performs close up magical demonstrations for weddings, corporate events, family affairs, birthday parties, festivals, restaurant promotions, bar/bat mitzvahs, cocktail and dinner parties, or any occassion that can use a magic touch.
Magician Larry Maitin has been performing and teaching magic for over 25 years and specializes in altering reality to create an entertaining and memorable experience of the impossible for all!
Larry's obsession with magic began with his first magic set at age 7 and he hasn’t stopped since. By age 13, he performed his first professional magic show. In high school, Larry worked as the house magician for an ice-cream parlor in New York City, and continued performing private magic shows through college and graduate school, successfully avoiding ever having a real job.
Recently, Larry has been an instructor for a Wake Technical Community College class in Raleigh North Carolina on "The Art of Magic," a course on “sleight of hand”, and presently serves as an advisor and mentor to the Magic Youth International for the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
Today Magician Larry Maitin resides in Raleigh NC and continues to regularly perform close up and parlor magic, creating for his audiences an entertaining experience of the impossible.
