We asked Larry to come to a small and unique venue, for a birthday party. He was fantastic, and had the crowd fired up! His tricks were great and he was very good at incorporating members of our party in his tricks. I would definitely ask larry to come back for more parties, and I am positive the birthday boy will!!

My husband's 40th Bday.
We had an all adult party and everyone is still talking about his work. It is fun to see my friends reaction to his tricks. He did strolling magic and had a crowd follow him from table to table. It was a great crowd pleaser and ice breaker. We would hire him again and some of my friends would want to hire him too for their own parties.

About
Larry's obsession with magic began with his first magic set at age 7 and he hasn’t stopped since. By age 13, he performed his first professional magic show. In high school, Larry worked as the house magician for an ice-cream parlor in New York City, and continued performing private magic shows through college and graduate school, successfully avoiding ever having a real job.
Recently, Larry has been an instructor for a Wake Technical Community College class in Raleigh North Carolina on "The Art of Magic," a course on “sleight of hand”, and presently serves as an advisor and mentor to the Magic Youth International for the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
Today Magician Larry Maitin resides in Raleigh NC and continues to regularly perform close up and parlor magic, creating for his audiences an entertaining experience of the impossible.
What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 30 - 180 minutes
Spectators will experience a feeling of wonder and amazement in a light hearted way, and will be active participants in many of the magicial demonstrations.
