Why hire Magen Miller?
Born in Dallas, Magen Miller began her musical training on piano at the age of five. She later took up violin/fiddle and has studied both formally. Early in her professional career she began experimenting with improvisation which led to her earliest compositions. As a high school student Ms. Miller wrote primarily for piano and strings. Her first orchestra piece was premiered by the Garland (TX) High School Honors Orchestra in 2005. That year she was also awarded the William Gillock Memorial Award by the Richardson Music Teachers Association for one of her piano compositions.
