We hired M&M Carriage Company for my daughter's wedding on 12/15/12. It was an outdoor wedding on a beautiful piece of property north of Tyler (Biggs Farm). The spot we had chosen for the ceremony was in a low-lying clearing in the woods overlooking a small private lake. During the planning stages, we were brainstorming with our wedding coordinator some creative ways for the bride to make her entrance and a friend suggested a horse and carriage. We found M&M online, called and talked to Matthew. Initially debated whether to spend the money but as it turned out we definitely made the right decision! This was the most talked-about part of the entire night! We kept it as a secret....only the bridesmaids, the wedding coordinator, and my husband and I knew about this, so it was a complete surprise to the groom and the guests. The bridesmaids entered while music was playing, then there was a moment of silence as everyone stood wondering where the bride was. All of a sudden the sound of horses' hooves in the distance, then louder and louder as the carriage swept onto the scene with the grandest entrance any of us could ever imagine! The groom's response was priceless. The guests were blown away and many of them are still talking about this weeks later. Matthew was extremely professional and friendly. A master of his craft. He showed up more than two hours in advance and kept the horses hidden on the back of the property until the ceremony, then stayed around to take the bride & groom for a carriage ride immediately following the wedding. The horses & carriage were absolutely stunning! Thank you, Matthew! You made a very special day just that much more memorable!

We are the only carriage company in the Tyler/ East Texas area that uses a team of matching white Percheron horses which is not only more elegant but safer as well. With a few different carriages to choose from, we have one for every occasion. We use the Vis-a-Vis for weddings and Quinceaeras, and the hitch wagon can be used for funerals. We work most of the time in Tyler but travel all over the East Texas area.
