I saw "Comedy with Curves" last Sunday night at The Comedy Club in Webster, New York. Liz was the last to perform and I thought her set was certainly the best. She has an ease and approachability that makes listening to her like being with a good friend. Her humor was very relatable, and very funny. She shared a part of herself with the audience with no apology and just shined. I would definitely see her act again in a heartbeat!

She is Funny --- had my audience laughing the entire set!
I held my first comedy night at my dinner theater. Comedian (brilliant) Joe Ohrin brought Liz as part of the comedy night and we are THRILLED she was part of the show. Everyone asked me when I was bringing LIZ back they loved her she is so charming and funny. She held the audience the entire set and laughed themselves silly. If you want a successful comedy night she is the one to hire just enough edge and I will tell you very nice person to work with - her comedy is brilliant her smile is huge and you NEED TO HIRE HER!

Liz Russo works as a standup comic, plus size model, actress, speaker, and producer.
Liz got her comedic start at American University. Before her start in comedy, Liz worked as a Whitehouse intern under the Clinton administration. She got her comedic start in Washington DC's famed improvisational comedy troupe, Mission IMPROV-able, where she worked with friend, television personality, and film actor Chris Wylde. It was here that she began to write and perform her original stand-up comedy.
As a comedienne, Liz is available as a feature act, headliner, and to emcee comedy or variety shows. Her comedy act is a strong 30-45 minutes of PG13 to R rated material suitable for adult audiences. Liz combines sexual innuendo with her own kind of self-deprecating humor. She draws from her personal experience as a plus size model, talking about body image in the media. Liz's comedy act is autobiographical in nature and includes using painful experiences to find humor in life. Her major influence of this is Richard Pryor.
Other influences include Steve Martin, Chelsea Handler, and TIna Fey.
