Objective

My objective is to explore all avenues of creative interpretive belly dance. To apply my experience and my ability towards a goal that will bring strength and beauty into the lives of my students and fellow belly dancers. Also a focused attention on the understanding of foreign ideas associated with Lebanese, Turkish and Egyptian music there bye giving my students a much more expansive opportunity to fulfill their personal dreams and enjoying the ancient art of belly dance.

Qualifications

I have been studying the art form of belly dance for 3 YEARS and free style for over 14 years. Studying under such wonderful performers such as SuzannaDel Vecchio, Sema Yildiz, Hale Sultan, Reyhan Tuzsuz, and Egyptian master teacher Morocco just to name a few of the dancers who touched my life. I have been giving In home personalized workshops for over 5 years. Many live performances . From ladyfest.2008 yellow springs street fair ladyfest 2009.2010, to the masque a Dayton dance club(a benefit for ladyfest.) many country clubs in Dayton. Theses are just a few of the most recent events.

Education

Started jazz and tap from the age of 7, Arthur Murray dance studio. Also some ballet, flamenco, salsa, and most importantly Turkish, Egyptian, gypsy, oriental, and expressive interpretive belly dance most recently incorporating my violin playing in gypsy dances at the ohio Renaissance festival 2009.

Relevant Experience

From salsa to belly dance the union of the dance brings us to a higher place which allows a rise of the spirit in unity with the expressive dance form. My travels to such festivals Alturka, Istanbul has allowed me the education needed to bring an expand this amazing art form from its homelands to the united states. In my travels I have had the opportunities to grow in my ability and in my joy in relating other foreign cultures there by giving me what I need to teach this amazing art form called gypsy belly dance. Costume maker and creator of magnificent jewelry and hand painted jeans and encompassing art form. To dance is to feel the magic of these foreign cultures that more than ever in this modern day and age is so needed to bring the unity and strength and beauty that can only be learned from the inward search that leads us to the ultimate expression dance.
