Maela is the main Professional Belly Dancer in Columbus, Ohio. She is well known for her elegant and authentic style that will impress your guests. She has danced at weddings, birthday parties, restaurants, hookah venues, anniversaries, princess parties, concerts, college events, festivals, baby showers, cultural shows and many more events. She is versatile, however always sticking to the origins of the dance. She has experience dancing with recorded music as well as with multiple live music groups from Egyptian Orchestras to Classic Rock. Her authentic dance is family friendly and adds the perfect touch to make your event a success.

May 26, 2024Maela danced for my husband 's birthday party and she was incredible! Absolutely Profesional, she showed up at he the time we agreed and was always in touch to coordinate the details for the surprise!
She interacted with all our guest including the children that were over the moon since she graciously danced with them. She had a smile on her face all the time and the joy during her performance was evident.
I highly recommend her ! You can't go wrong!

February 24, 2023I booked MaeLa for a performance and a mini-lesson which also included a history lesson on belly dancing. Along with her props she really engaged with the residents of our long-term care facility. She even had residents in wheelchairs moving their hands, arms, and shoulders learning basic moves. Everyone, including staff were entertained and enjoyed the show. I highly recommend her for your next event.

Typical performance is a mix of upbeat, fun, mysterious stylized belly dance customized to your event. Maela engages the audience to ensure a unique and memorable experience for you and your guests! She is proficient in a variety of props such as; Finger cymbals, Veil, Fan Veils, Balancing Tray, Isis Wings, Sword or Cane. Prop choice is customized to your event.
Event Services include Birthday Parties, Graduations, Retirement Parties, Stage Shows, College Events, Restaurants, Night Clubs, Holiday Parties & Belly Grams. Belly Dancing is a family friendly event. Sorry no bachelor parties.
Most dance sets are 20 minutes in length, Maela will recommend the best time for your party. Multiple sets are available for restaurant events, weddings and similar types of events. Maela is happy to answer any questions you may have.
Maela provides speaker and music for most of her events. For larger events such as weddings a sound system will need to be available at event.
