Maela danced for my husband 's birthday party and she was incredible! Absolutely Profesional, she showed up at he the time we agreed and was always in touch to coordinate the details for the surprise!
She interacted with all our guest including the children that were over the moon since she graciously danced with them. She had a smile on her face all the time and the joy during her performance was evident.
I highly recommend her ! You can't go wrong!

I booked MaeLa for a performance and a mini-lesson which also included a history lesson on belly dancing. Along with her props she really engaged with the residents of our long-term care facility. She even had residents in wheelchairs moving their hands, arms, and shoulders learning basic moves. Everyone, including staff were entertained and enjoyed the show. I highly recommend her for your next event.

Maela has been studying belly dance since 2002 and performing professionally since 2011. Her training includes studying under world-renowned teachers and performers, including internationally recognized and Egyptian dancers.
Her experience extends beyond the studio and stage. Maela has placed in international duet competitions and live music competitions, developing a strong understanding of musicality, performance, and improvisation.
Known for her elegant, authentic, and engaging style, Maela honors the traditions of belly dance while bringing her own personality and creativity to every performance. She has experience performing to recorded music as well as alongside a variety of live musicians and bands.
Based in Central Ohio, Maela is passionate about sharing the beauty and artistry of belly dance with audiences of all ages. She brings professionalism, experience, and genuine love for the art to every performance.
Additional booking notes
Maela provides her own speaker and music for most events. For larger events, such as weddings or large venues, a suitable sound system will need to be available at the event. A clean, safe performance area with adequate space for movement is also required.
