Hypnotizing his first volunteer at age 15. Eric has developed a true passion for the art of hypnotism. A Certified Hypnotherapist with the International Hypnosis Association and a graduate of the Stage Hypnosis Training of the International Institute of Hypnosis in Las Vegas, NV. Eric was mentored by his personal friend, Las Vegas Headlining Hypnotist Marc Savard.

Eric is not only a student of hypnosis but a true believer in hypnotherapy and has first hand experience as a hypnotee in addition to being the hypnotist. Having lost and maintained a 40 pound weight loss through the proper use of hypnosis in combination with diet and exercise, Eric can relate to both sides of the hypnosis experience.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 60 - 120 minutes

The Hypnotist Eric Walden comedy hypnosis show "Excite Your Imagination" turns members of your audience into the stars of the show and the remainder are left to roll with laughter. Your audience will experience their friends, family and complete strangers truest personalities in a wild and zany night of hypnotic hilarity. Great for and ice breaker or rapport builder the audience becomes a part of the act, interacting with the stars of the show.

Stage/Setup Requirements:
Large enough stage for chairs, volunteers and performance area.
Non Folding Chairs without arms

Additional Notes:
Technical Section
Stage Requirements: Minimum stage size should be 16x32 for the safety of all those on stage. If the stage is portable it should be positioned flush up against the wall or should have a guardrail along the back to eliminate the possibility of going off the back of the stage. A rule of thumb is – the larger the stage the better!
If the show will be in a theater on a permanent stage then please provide Hypnotist Eric Walden with Stage measurements at least 2 weeks prior to performance. The stage should be free and clear of all podiums, tables and cords or other obstacles.
The show will benefit greatly by being on an elevated platform, if this cannot happen then please add 4 feet to the dimensions listed above before placing tables or chairs.
Sound: A powerful sound system is critical for the success of your event. Sound system should be adequate for the venue and should have a minimum of two inputs. Ceiling PA’s are not acceptable. Hypnotist Eric Walden provides a sound system where an existing one of acceptable use is unavailable. (BOSE L1) Additional power at back of stage will be required for sound system.
Microphone: There should be a high quality Microphone with dual antennas for the show. If this cannot be provided please let us know and we’ll be sure to provide our own.
Power and Direct Input (DI): Hypnotist Eric Walden will either run all of his music via a remote control system, or provide a sound person. There should be 120 electrical power and a Direct Input (DI) for the sound system (Microphone cable) at the down-stage right corner of the stage.
Chairs: 15-30 chairs, without arms, should be set up in one row with the chairs touching one another and as close together as is possible. FOLDING CHAIRS, Chairs with ARMS and Chairs with Rollers are NOT ACCEPTABLE. The number of chairs will vary depending on the stage size and audience size. These chairs should be attached using duct tape, gaffers tape or zip ties. (This is very important for the safety of the volunteers)
Sound Check: Sound check with the person running the sound and any theater, lighting or venue crew will take place 60-90 minutes prior to the shows starting time.

Volunteers
Video Cameraman & Still Cameraman: Every show is videotaped on a digital camcorder. It is requested that one person is available to man the camcorder and keep it focused on the action happening on stage. A 5-10 minute briefing will be needed with this person to show them how to run the camera. A specific location in the venue must be dedicated for the placement of the camera that provides a central view of the stage. In addition to this, Hypnotist Eric Walden maintains a high quality digital still camera, when possible provide one person to take pictures of the show during the show, these pictures will be burned onto a CD for you and sent to you after the show.
Product Sales and Placement
Every show provides a brief pause to promote CD’s and DVD’s for sale after the show. Table: One 6-8 foot banquet table should be available for Hypnotist Eric Walden for sales of Self-Hypnosis CD’s, DVD’s and other products after the performance. It’s preferred that the table be skirted, but not required.
Hospitality
Beverages – 2 sealed bottles of spring water or purified water, preferably with sport tops should be available no later than 15 minutes before the show. Chilled water is preferred, but not required. Cold Diet Coke is also acceptable.
Green Room
A private room of sufficient proportions for the Hypnotist and staff to change clothes and prepare for the performance is requested but not required.
