Hellen Mamich (Jelena Mamic) is a young Croatian doctor of medicine and an opera singer.
She was born in Canberra, Australia. Her mother was an amateur singer who had been unable to pursue her own professional music. Determined to provide her daughter with opportunities she never had, Jelena's mother enrolled her in piano lessons, violin lessons and church quire.
Her first public appearance as a singer took place at the "The Gallery of Arts" in Split at the age of seven.
She started her formal vocal training at the age of seventeen. Ms.Mamic sang in many eminent church choirs as a soloist where she achieved a lot experience in performing oratorio and sacral music.
In 2001 she performed at the festival of "Varaždin Baroque Evenings", and after that performance she made a tour to Rome with Cathedral Quire to sing to Pope John Paul II.

Ms.Mamic entered School of Medicine and School of Music (vocal department) in year 2003. In 2009. she successfully completed Medicine and Music studies as a top graded student and obtained M.D. as a doctor of medicine and Diploma in Vocal Performance.
She attended the masterclasses of Marvin Keenze (baritone), Angela Gibblin (mezzo soprano),Nelli Manulilenko (mezzo soprano).
Ms.Mamic had a lot of live performances, she had many recitals at Cathedral od St.Duje in Split, cultural centers, charity concerts, Croatian national Theater and also very important performance for Croatian national Television - Good Morning Croatia. She also attended competitions in choir singing and as a soloist. In year 2006 she won first state prize in choir singing and in year 2009. she won second state prize as a soloist.
In 2006. she started her collaboration with Radio KL in producing various commercials and in 2008 she started to appear with a short radio show„Corner of Dr.Mamic“ as a part of the radio show „Ajla-Bajla“.
In 2009. she started to collaborate with a young perspective pianist Ms.Filimonovic forming classical duo - "Arbor Vitae" . Duo "Arbor Vitae" performed at many cultural events and charity concerts.
Ms.Mamic provides music for weddings, receptions, worship services, private parties, corporate events, recitals, concerts, fund raising events, cafe's, restaurants, nursing homes, civic meetings, funerals, gallery openings, cultural festivals and libraries. She has classical training but her repertoire expands to many genres (Classical, Pop, Opera, Jazz, Christian, Country, Oldies but goodies or any other music my clients request) to accommodate her clients and events. Her clients love hers service because she offers exquisite music that adds beauty and elegance to the events and go above and beyond to create a very special day for her clients.
