About

Hagerman the Magician has been performing professionally for over 20 years! For ten years prior to his professional performance debut, he studied magic and comedy starting at the age of nine. In the third grade, he bought his very first book: How to be Funny. Young Hagerman never knew at that time that this was the beginning of a lifelong fascination with comedy and magic.

From early on, Hagerman knew his approach to comedy magic was different. Rather than buying scripted comedy routines from magic catalogs, (as most professional magicians on this site do), he opted to create his own. Soon the local magicians he came in contact with began to help themselves to his material and routines. Hagerman did not like this and so he went underground. Only performing for private groups, he no longer advertised or performed publicly until now.

Hagerman's personality carries the show. Because of this, he doesn't need to perform large illusions to stretch time. He prefers to perform a high energy, one-man show. But if clients want large illusions, Hagerman has those but at twice the price: large illusions are a hassle to transport and to upkeep and won't fit in the over head compartment of a plane.

Hagerman's comedy magic is family friendly, 100% clean and he doesn't have to make fun of anyone to get laughs. He can fill any stage large or small. Bring him in to motivate and entertain at corporate events or hire him to perform in a fair or festival type setting. No matter what kind of venue you have, Hagerman brings magic and joy to all!

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 30 - 90 minutes

Witness Fuzzy the Bear: The World’s Smallest Mind Reading Bear. (He is also the worlds largest!) Fuzzy is a puppet but you will swear he’s alive. Claimed by many, including magicians, to be the world's cutest card routine, Fuzzy will win the hearts of all.

Watch Hagerman perform a staged size, high speed origami routine; with witty humor and dialog. The shapes and designs he creates will amuse and delight you audiences.

The Wonder Worm vanishes and appears from the most unexpected places. Watch in amazement when the worm leaps out from a child's own sleeve and then out his ear. Instant Applause! Instant Laughter!

Video recording is strictly prohibited. As one of the few true magical artists, Hagerman does not perform for home movies, TV audiences or youtube. To keep his performances special, only the privileged, who see him live and in person, get to witness his amazing talents.
