Grupo Variedad is a representation of authentic tropical music of Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Cuba and other Hispanic countries, using the string instruments; as guitars and Latin percussions, comprised by typical instruments and traditional music of the Caribbean and South America.
Grupo Variedad focuses in retrieving the different traditional genres of music such as; merengue, bachata, bolero, cumbia, cha cha cha, guaracha, son, plena, and much more. The group has a fresh and up to date style, without losing the essence and originality of this type of music, with an emphasis on the vocals of the four musicians, lead vocals, duos, trios and chorus.
Grupo Variedad played the music we wanted. Great people to communicate with. Well prepared for the wedding. It was great music to dance and listen to. We hope hear them at their event that are taking place.

Grupo Variedad is a musical group with a long history of involvement and experience behind them in the Latin music scene in the City of Buffalo. The group is comprised of Jose A. Rodriguez (guitar bass/chorus, Eladio (Yayo) Rodriguez (vocals), Ceferino (Vitin) Lopez (percussion/chorus), and Jorge Rodriguez (12 string guitar/chorus.

If a sound system is available we will need 5 microphones and 2 monitors. If not grupo variedad will have their own sound system available.
