About

The core band is comprised of:

Barry James - drums. Seasoned NBC studio musician and arranger.
Julian Bond - piano. Extraordinarily accomplished world-class pianist, composer, arranger, and entertainer. Anything from classical to rock and through all styles in between are a natural part of Julian's musical vernacular.
Adrian Zvarych - bass. Seasoned bassist, wide range of styles, pocket player.

We have had a range of female vocalists work with us, all accomplished and very talented musicians, of Disney caliber. We also have access to other instrumentalists as needed to fulfill the needs of an event.

Our music is centered around a wide range of jazz from the 1930's to the 1950's. We also include tunes with Latin, Island/Calypso, blues, and R&B grooves, depending on where the audience seems to respond best during the event.

We are professionals, courteous and respectful, sensitive to the needs of the planner and the audience and can cater to a very wide range of needs. We are Orlando based, and can travel depending on the circumstances and available schedules. We seek to make every event special and positively memorable.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 45 - 240 minutes

Smooth jazz, R&B/funk, jazz standards, latin jazz. Depending on the venue and needs, we also incorporate blues rock n' roll, and dance songs.

Stage/Setup Requirements:
120V/20A power
Canopy or shade with riser/platform for outdoor events

Additional Notes:
Mastersounds can provide all needed PA equipment from a small restaurant setting for light vocal work to small outside venues where a three-way speaker stack is required to project outdoors or in a larger hall ro auditorium. We provide no lighting.
