Why book Forrest Wakeman?

Forrest Wakeman

I am a performer, composer, producer, worship leader, and keyboard player for hire based in the West Michigan area. I have played for over 20 Broadway tours (including national tours of Wicked, Grease, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and others), the Grand Rapids and West Michigan Symphony orchestras, numerous solo and ensemble recitals, weddings, banquets, corporate functions, etc. My creative work has been heard on nationally syndicated children's radio drama programs, in full-length broadway-style musicals produced at my church, and in various local and regional television and radio advertisements. I currently teach as an adjunct professor at Cornerstone University, Aquinas College, and Calvin College, and serve as music director at Blythefield Hills Baptist Church in Rockford, MI.

Most recently, I have released a new CD recording project entitled “Instrumental Hymns." I am currently scheduling concerts for 2013 in support of my CD release.
