I have been performing my Tribute to Mae West since 1999. I was a bandleader & singer/percussionist/front person for 15 years, I sang Jazz, Blues, Standards, 50's & 60's Rock n Roll, & Top 40 Dance Music. Every now and then I would do a spoof on Ethel Merman and realized that the audience, the guys in my band, as well as myself got the biggest kick out of Ethel...so I started working on her character and voice to build the act.

After I dissolved my band, I performed my other characters on cruise ships in production shows, Corporate Events & Private Parties, as well as in production shows in Casinos, & Hotels throughout Southern California & in Puerto Rico. I would always tease those in the cast or the audience with a sample of my Ethel to see their reaction
