Élise Nicole Lewis is an anointed Psalmist who has an overwhelming passion for worship. Usually described as unique and authentic, Élise Nicole Lewis' ministry in music, is flavored with jazzy undertones and very soothing melodies that will usher you into the presence of the Lord. Elise's main focus in ministry is simply, to return the creation, back to the creator, by any means necessary.


From the age of five until this present time, music, especially hymns of the church, has been a very important and pivotal part of Élise's development. By her mother being a church organist, and her father a guitarist, there was always music playing or even family sing-a-longs.


Since that time, the Lord has blessed Élise by allowing the her opportunity to share her gift of music by singing background for Twinkie Clark, Bettie Griffin-Keller, Vickie Winans, Diana Ross, Don Hennley, Jamie "JT" McMillan, Anthony Hamilton, Terrell Hunt and Dr. Diane "Dr. DEE" White. The Lord has allowed this woman of God to share in ministry with Rev. Nolan Williams and the Psalmist, Trent Davis and Co., Kevin Levar and One Sound, Phillip Carter and the Sounds of Victory, David and Monique Griffiths, Elder Vernon S. Williams, EC Mass Choir, Capital City Youth Choir, DC Youth Federation Choir, and the GMWA DC Chapter Youth and Adult choir.


One of the most important aspects concerning ministry for Élise is teaching and impartation. Élise has served in many capacities in the Washington Metropolitan Area, such as Choir Director (Israel Baptist Church, Union Wesley AME Zion Church, Brookland Union Baptist Church), Praise and Worship Leader (Emmanuel Covenant Church, Banner of the Lord Church, Church of the Lord's Harvest, Israel Baptist Church, Breath of Life Ministries, Metropolitan Baptist Church), Praise and Worship Clinician and a voice teacher in the Evangel Cathedral Performing Arts School, Trinity Baptist Church (Washington, DC), and Zion Church (Largo, MD). And as of July 2000, Élise Nicole Lewis was licensed into ministry as an Evangelist.


Presently, Élise is working on her first CD Project entitled, "Quiet No More", and a book of poetry with the same title, due to be released by Worship Him 4 Life, an organization founded by Élise. She is currently in the Praise and Worship Institute through Integrity Music, by way of Liberty University and has received an Associate's of Arts in Christian Ministry, and completing her BA in Christian Ministry from United Christian Ministries International. She currently serves as Minister of Music of God Glorified COGIC, in Takoma Park, MD.
