Magic Castle Magician David Neubauer is a full-time professional magician based in Los Angeles who regularly performs at trade shows, corporate and celebrity events; however, he most often works his magic at intimate "private" celebrations. His passion for magic and entertaining is unmistakable at the many thousands of parties throughout Southern California and beyond, ranging from birthdays to weddings and everything in between! David will make YOUR celebration even more magical!

Recently, David was the "Magical Emcee" for a show with comedians Jeff Rothpan, MadTV's Frank Caliendo and singers Ty Herndon, John Michael Montgomery and Patti LaBelle. David is not only a Los Angeles Magician, but performs across Southern California and the United States! David recently headlined at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas where he performed his "Magic to Blow Your Mind" to a standing ovation crowd.

He has baffled and amused the entertainers backstage at Comic Relief and the American Music Awards, and was the magician at wrap parties such as Spiderman II and Planet of the Apes. David performed with Barry Manilow (literally "with") during the finale of Barry's Manilow on Broadway tour, starred for two years with the Rosier Players, made over 3000 performances on Amtrak's Coast Starlight, performed on the International Channel's world-wide telecast Kobe Earthquake Relief Telethon, and was even on ABC-TV doing magic for food critic Elmer Dills.

David has worked nationwide including as a special guest performer at the Interlochen Center for the Arts, at the Michigan Shakespeare Festival, at Wonderama opening for the Ron Pearson comedy SpitWads, and for three years at the OK Mozart International Music Festival -- selling out all of his Showcase Magic performances. There was so much demand for tickets that the festival added extra performances each year -- which also sold out immediately.

He starred in the Rosier Players 100th Anniversary Celebration, performed with Dick Van Dyke for the Oak Park Theater, provided the magic at the "Monsters, Magic & Mystery Ball" for the Lake Arrowhead Ballet Company, headlined a series of shows at the Footlight Theater, and performed for Daily Variety.

And in some kind of endurance record, David performed for over 11 straight hours at the 40th Anniversary of Art's Deli right after performing for four days on the Coast Starlight train!

Because of all the corporate work David does, he always carries $3,000,000/$4,000,000 Liability Insurance.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 30 - 300 minutes

STROLLING MAGIC:
David's 'walk-around' magic is quite different from any you've seen. His highly original magic happens with his sleeves rolled up, right before your eyes, often right in your hands. When not laughing or shaking their heads in disbelief, the audience's number one reaction is "You blew my mind!"

STAND-UP MAGIC:
For groups up to 200 or so, some of David's signature effects are set in a more theatrical presentation. This magical journey includes rings, ropes, predictions, cards, money and mind-reading with loads of comedy and fun! This audience-participation show is tailored to each event, and can last up to 75 minutes in length. David's sound system can be easily tied into any other sound system for larger events.

STAND-UP ACT II:
Details on David's new show (currently in production) will be posted soon. This show will have a psychic twist.

TABLE MAGIC:
Table Magic is the most intense magic David performs, where he really "pushes the envelope." This more intimate show is a favorite after-dinner program that David performs throughout the country; it includes his "World's Greatest Card Effect."

MAGICAL EMCEE
Have a professional emcee at your event -- with a twist! David has emcee'd for shows including Patti La Belle, Ty Herndon and John Michael Montgomery. He also has an ongoing show emceeing for "The Ever-Lovelies" tap dance troupe.

Additional Notes:
For the stand-up magic act, a lit stage or platform is a definite plus!!
