I have been playing guitar since I saw The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan show. That may be longer than some of you have been alive. Over the years I've played many different styles in many different situations. These days I really enjoy pickin' my acoustic guitar and singing everybody's favorite songs. I also play lead guitar in a full band. I have worked with many artists and had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful people in the Music Business. I've traveled the "road" with some popular regional acts over the years and I don't regret any of it. Some local bands I've played with include The Groove Movement, The Funky Soul Train, The Alleykatz Band, The Stutz Brothers Band, Micropolis, The Ron Kimble Band, The Swingin' How-R-Yuns, The Blackbirds, Men In Blues and a few others that are kinda fuzzy these days. My long career has allowed me to share the stage in either warm up or showcasing situations with several bands including Janis Joplin, Mothers Finest, Goose Creek Symphony, Peter Rivera and Rare Earth, Maceo Parker, The Chambers Brothers, Dickie Betts, Hydra, The Drifters, The Platters, Arthur Conley, The Atlanta Rhythm Section and many others over the years. Some venues I've played include The Cobb Energy Center, Alexander Memorial Stadium, The Fox Theater, Chastain Park Amphitheater, The Macon Colosseum, Sambuca Jazz Cafe, A Taste of Marietta, Hemingways, One Star Ranch, Monterrey Mexican Restaurant, Steinbeck's, UGA, Georgia Tech, Presbytarian College, Georgia Southern University, Dekalb College, The Electric Eye, Richard's and many, many more. Yes folks, life is good. And the best part is...I'm still playing music and lovin' every minute of it. If I left anything out just call me and we'll talk about it.
