About

I started the formal study of piano at age four. My father loved music, playing the violin, the mandolin and the accordion, and mother, the cello. They inspired me to learn the Universal language, the language that touches the soul. I am so grateful to them for the many years of childhood piano lessons, the lessons at the Hoch'sche Conservatory in Frankfurt, Germany; and year after year the front row season tickets that exposed me to the great pianists of our time.

I especially loved and admired CLAUDIO ARRAU and ELLY NEY, the great German pianist and Beethoven interpreter. An interest in popular music developed after moving to America. Later, while living in the Canal Zone of Panama, I fell in love with Latin music. I had a special friend, LUCHO AZCARRAGA, Hammond organist, who, while performing at parties at the Governor's Mansion or on a Canal cruise, would nudge me to sit in with his band. I would play my favorite Latin song "Adoro" by Armando Manzanero; it remains one of my favorites.

I am available to perform at anniversaries, baby showers, birthdays, corporate functions, dinner parties, holiday parties, luncheons, grand openings, open houses, receptions, special occasions, weddings and more.

Current and past engagements in the Dallas & Ft. Worth area include the Zodiac Room at Neiman Marcus, Hyatt Hotel, Westin Hotel, The University Club at the Dallas Galleria, Steinway Hall, Canyon Creek Country Club, Il Nono's Restaurant at the Hyatt DFW, Il Sorrento Restaurant, Joe T. Garcia’s Restaurant, Northpark Mall, Prestonwood Mall, Gershwin's Restaurant, Golden Acres Retirement Home, Presbyterian Village, The Dallas Country Club and The Crescent Club.

Piano, full orchestral/rhythm keyboard and sound system are also available for performances.
