About

Scott was paroled from a life sentence of piano lessons while attending High
School in Kentucky and was allowed to take blue grass banjo lessons instead. He moved to Utah to attend college and formed an acoustic band for fun. Scott finished college, married his beautiful wife Donna, had four wonderful children, adopted a below average cat and a great German Shepherd. Six years ago Scott picked up the banjo again and began taking Claw Hammer banjo lessons to prevent further loss of the right side of his brain. His daughter, Kimber began taking guitar lessons at the same music studio while in high school. Unlike most high school kids, Kimber would stay up late every night learning the guitar and writing her own songs. She never planned on sharing the songs until her father made her play them for her guitar teacher. Scott and Kimber then began working together and liked the sound. The rest as they say.....is just the beginning. We created the band Breneau to crystalize the sound of our work.

The music that Kimber writes is genuine and real. Her music is always from the heart as it shines light on the possibilities to make the world a better
place.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 60 - 90 minutes

Breneau's music is appealing to all ages, so will be appropriate for many venues. For most performances the band will consist of an acoustic version of their music and two people. For larger venues a full band can be provided.

We have a small, portable sound system we can bring, but if there is already a sound system and other equipment we can use that.

Set/Song/Sequence List:
We will perform all the songs from our current CD as well as new songs as they are written and perfected. We will also occasionally perform and cover song or two.
