Totally superb performance! Saw this group in Effingham Illinois last night which was new years eve 2011-2012 and I did not want the performance to end!!! The music and costumes are FANTASTIC but it is the energy that the group passes onto the audience that will totally captivate you!! great fun!!

It rained, but nobody left...........it was that good
Kennesaw will be hard pressed to top this one. Almost Elton was one of the best concerts we have ever seen. Loud.....yes, but nobody cared. Young and old alike danced and swayed, and sang along.They were still begging for more at the end. Wonderful.

Craig A Meyer has traversed all four corners of the entertainment industry making strong impressions in theatre, film, television and music.
All this experience comes together in ALMOST ELTON JOHN.
Throughout Meyer's busy career, he was repeatedly approached about his striking resemblance to Elton John and his uncanny ability to sound like the rock and roll legend. Meyer was eventually persuaded to expand his repertoire and began impersonating Sir Elton John.
Today, Meyer is known to be one of the best Elton John Tribute acts in the industry. His strong vocals, looks and amazing talent on the piano has every audience remembering “When Rock Was Young”. Meyer performs in the US and overseas in casino showrooms, theatres, corporate events and special events.
On Broadway, Meyer created the role of Clinton Badger in MGM's classic MEET ME IN S. LOUIS and toured nationally in CATS as Skimbleshanks, The Red Caboose in STARLIGHT EXPRESS, and Mike Nulty in IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS. Regionally, he has starred in JACQUES BREL... for the Alliance Theatre, FOREVER PLAID, CRAZY FOR YOU, A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD, 42ND STREET and THE ALL NIGHT STRUT.
Television appearances include guest starring roles on WILL & GRACE, GOOD MORNING MIAMI, FAMILY LAW, GENERAL HOSPITAL and FERNWOOD 2NITE.
In film, Meyer sang "A WHOLE NEW WORLD" in Disney's Oscar winning classic ALADDIN, and also had the pleasure of working with Tim Rice and Elton John on their first Disney collaboration, THE LION KING. Most recently, he was seen in LEATHERHEADS with George Clooney and Renee Zellweger.
In music, Meyer toured internationally and recorded with music legends Barry Manilow and Frankie Valli.
