Mary Morris is the Company Owner, Booking Agent, Magician, Face Painter, Balloon Artist, Clown, Character Performer, Victorian Christmas Caroler, Wedding Singer, and More!

Mary has been performing in various theatrical and musical productions from a very early age. She has traveled extensively with several musical ensembles in her late teens and early twenties. Mary became interested in clowning in the late 80s - early 90s. She decided to become a clown and did so in the early 90s. However, business was off to a very slow start! She soon realized the need for network marketing and decided to branch out into the entertainment industry as a booking agent. She created All Star Entertainmnet and opened it's doors in the summer of 1992, booking herself as Starlight the Clown, and booking other clowns and performers as well. The business quickly grew into the thriving entertainment agency it is today, well known in the Houston area for providing entertainment services that are second to none!

Today, Mary still mans the office all week, answering the phones, returning emails and booking talent. She also still performs, as a clown, a face painter, a balloon artist, a singer, and a character performer. This is what she feels she was born to do. She only wishes she had realized this some 20 years sooner, while still in her early twenties! But that's OK, as there are still a lot of good years left in her and she has no plans to retire from this line of work at any time in the near or distant future!

Influences

Known as the "entertainer" in the family, Mary Morris was producing her own productions at a very early age. She debuted on stage at 4 years old singing "If I Had A Hammer" made famous by Peter, Paul, and Mary in the 60's. By the time she was in high school, she was singing, dancing, and acting in everything that came along. In 1972, at 18, she was the 4th Runner Up in the Miss Wichita Falls Beauty Pageant (an official Miss America Pageant) winning the talent segment of that competition, had the lead female role in a musical production, & was an officer on the high school dance team. This was just the beginning! Today she has won the "Best All Around Clown" in Texas, not once, but TWICE!

Stage/Setup Requirements:
Magicians and clown may require a microphone for large scale events, to be provided by the client.

Additional Notes:
Magic shows: typically the magicians provide their own table for their shows. For larger venues, a P.A. system might be required and would need to be provided by the client. Our clowns, face painters, balloon artists, and caricature artists provide their own tables. Some provide their own chairs. Occasionally the client is asked to provide the chairs. DJs provide all their own equipment for their shows / events. Electricity is provided by the client. For outdoor events, a whisper quiet generator will be needed and will be the responsibility of the client to provide one for powering the DJ's sound and lighting equipment.

Set/Song/Sequence List:
For large scale events (indoors or outdoors), the magicians or other performers, may need a sound system, to be provided by the client. Lighting my also be a requirement, if the performance is to be outside after dark. Lighting will also be the responsibility of the client.
While a stage is not always a necessity for a performance, it may be preferred by the client, in which case the client will provide a stage for the act.
