Actors, Actresses, Models
Specify the talent you need:
Voiceover Artist
Voice acting or Voiceover Art is the art of providing voices for animated characters (including those in feature films, television series, animated shorts), doing voice-overs in radio and television commercials, audio dramas, dubbed foreign language films, video games, puppet shows, and amusement rides. An individual who performs such voice-only roles is known as a voice actor or actress or as a voiceover artist. Voice acting may also involve singing, although a second voice actor is sometimes cast as the character's singing voice.
Actors
An actor is a person who acts, or plays a role in a dramatic production. The term commonly refers to someone working in movies, television, live theatre, or radio, and also denotes a street entertainer. Besides playing dramatic roles, actors may also sing or dance or work only on radio or as a voice artist, and can also appear in local roles in public places, such as a Santa Claus at the mall, a mannequin in a department store window or a salesperson at a trade show or expo. A female actor can be known either as an actor or actress.
Stunt Performers
A stunt performer is someone who performs dangerous stunts as a career. These stunts are sometimes rigged so that they look dangerous while still having safety mechanisms, but often they are as dangerous as they appear to be. Stunt performers are distinct from stunt doubles, as they perform their stunts purely for the sake of the stunt itself, often before an audience for their entertainment, while a stunt double typically performs stunts intended for use in a motion pictures or dramatized television.
Art Models
Art modeling involves the posing of a model as an aid in creating a work of art. Models are frequently used for training art students at art schools, but are also employed by accomplished artists. The most common types of art created using models are figure drawing, figure painting, sculpture and photography. Although commercial motives dominate over the esthetics in advertising, its 'artwork' commonly employs models.
Fashion Models
Fashion models are used mainly to promote products (primarily clothing and accessories but almost anything else as well). There are two types of fashion models: high fashion and commercial. High fashion modeling is an art form of fashion. The photographer photographs the model in artistic themes that relate to the clothing promoted. The model uses their face and body to express different emotions required. High fashion is typical for work on campaigns, collections and magazine editorials for high fashion designers. These models are featured in high fashion magazines. Clothing designers traditionally show their new collections in an annual fashion show, for buyers, the fashion industry, and the general public. Fashion models walk the runway, and pose to display clothing.
Promotional Models
A promotional model is a person hired to help increase awareness about a product or service, usually through their appearance or acting. The promotional model is the consumer's frontline connection to the product or service. The model should present information to the customer in a friendly, upbeat, knowledgable and professional manner. Models must have a positive, outgoing, and energetic personality. Some assignments are auto shows, boat shows, music concerts, sporting events, seasonal festivals, convention events, and local malls. Many jobs require specific clothing or a costume. Other promotional marketing staff positions include product ambassadors, trade show spokesmodels, event staff, samplers, product demonstrators, and narrators.
Models
A model is a person who poses or displays for purposes of art, fashion, or other products and advertising. Modeling is distinguished from other types of public performance, such as an acting, dancing or mime artistry, although the boundary is not well defined. Appearing in a movie or a play is generally not considered to be modeling, regardless of the nature of the role. However, many models can also describe themselves as actors.
