Why hire 12th Night Klezmer?
Manhattan-based 12th Night Klezmer was formed in 2009 through collaboration between highly gifted musicians from Israel, France and the United States. Regular participants at international music festivals and seminars for classical, Jazz and traditional music, 12th night Klezmer ensemble were seeking to use their experience to form a unique sound and bring traditional Jewish music to the front of the stage.
During the process of learning about Klezmer music and by going back to original sources from Eastern Europe, the ensemble managed to revive the spirit and sound of the 19th century Klezmers, who were at that time a significant and inseparable part of the everyday Jewish life.

12th Night Klezmer recently performed at the McGraw-Hill Companies Young Artist Showcase of the WQXR radio, playing a specially designed Rosh Ha'Shana program of Jewish and Israeli Music side by side with Classical music who was influenced by Klezmer tunes.
12th night Klezmer members were inspired by the playing and the close mentorship of klezmer masters and performers such as David Krakauer, Giora Feidman and Alicia Svigals.
