What to expect

When you hire me, you get a real working musician with a guitar and a voice, not a karaoke machine. I show up on time, set up my own sound, and dress for the occasion, whether that is a wedding, a private party, or a restaurant gig.

For weddings I can play ceremony music, cocktail hour, or dinner sets. I am happy to learn a special song for a first dance or processional if you give me some lead time. For parties and bars, I play the songs people know and love, taking requests when I can and keeping the crowd into it.

I bring my own PA that covers up to about 200 guests, and I keep things professional and low hassle for you and your venue. My goal is simple: make your event feel easy and fun, and give your guests a good time.

About

Hey, I'm Zaylyn Young. I'm 24, I play guitar and bass, and I sing lead and harmony vocals. I've been playing for about 8 years now and I've played over 500 gigs in my life, everything from weddings and private parties to bars and restaurants. I've been gigging every weekend since December 2025.

My shows are all about feel good music people actually want to hear. I play country, rock, and crowd favorites, and I like to keep things fun and relaxed. Whether it's a wedding ceremony, a backyard party, or a busy restaurant patio, I know how to read the room and keep the energy right.

I'm relocating to Sevierville, Tennessee in November 2026 and I'm booking gigs around the Knoxville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Maryville areas. Looking forward to playing for you.

Additional booking notes

I'm a self contained act. I bring my own PA system with mics and monitors, and my own lighting for smaller stages. I just need one standard power outlet within reach of where I play.

Setup takes me about 30 to 45 minutes, and teardown is about 30 minutes. I can play acoustic only for ceremonies and cocktail hour if you want a softer sound, or I can run a full sound for parties and dances. Happy to work with your venue or planner on volume and timing.
