If this is a middle-eastern type of celebration, I like to open with "Mabrouk" by Ramy Ayach and move on to classics, such as Enta Omri or Laila Alf Laila or Shik Shak Shook.
From then we can move on to modern remixes by Amr Diab, Remy, and Nancy or any playlist you already selected for your event.

If this is an American celebration for baby or bridal shower or a 90th birthday party for grandpa, I like to start out with an elegant classic belly dancer's entrance, then continue with a different style and dramatic prop and move onto upbeat songs to get everyone engaged.
You can request songs to be performed or rely on my playlists and suggestions.
If needed, I can provide Bose speaker.
Born in Ukraine, Anelia has developed passion for Arabic music her parents brought from their years in Iraq in late 70ies. Fast forward into 2005, Anelia has rekindled her appreciation of classical and modern Arabic music and began taking belly dancing classes. English instructor by profession, she finds time to continue to practicing and performing. In recent years, she also got involved in Bollywood dance. She can get your party going!
