I like to start out with an elegant classic belly dancer's entrance, then continue with a different style and dramatic prop and move onto upbeat songs to get everyone engaged.
You can request songs to be performed or rely on my playlists and suggestions.
If needed, I can provide Bose speaker.
For Arabic celebration, I like to specifically open with "Mabrouk" by Ramy Ayach and move on to classics, such as Enta Omri or Laila Alf Laila or Shik Shak Shook.
Born in Ukraine, Anelia has developed passion for Arabic music that her parents brought from their years in Iraq in late 70-ies and 80-ies. Fast forward into 2005, Anelia has rekindled her appreciation of classical and modern Arabic music and began taking belly dancing classes from an esteemed studio in Lexington, KY. She became a soloist in 2019 and has been performing on her own since then. Besides loving her career in education as a professor of English, she continues to follow her passion for dance and dedicates time to regular practices and performances.
I can provide Bose speaker, if one is not available at your venue.
I can dance to live band and do improvisation to new music.
I will gladly pose for photos with all guests.
I can offer mini-lesson to your guests at no additional charge.
I do not dance with snakes or swords. I can recommend another excellent dancer can provide that!
