I am a violinist with a Master's degree in Performance from the University of Michigan. While my degree is in classical violin, I have also enjoyed doing klezmer, balkan, fiddle, and studio work in the past. My string quartet is available for booking as well!
Zachary and his accompaniment were professional, accommodating and also great with kids! Beautiful music from start to finish; everyone fave their compliments on selection. They were definitely a big part of what made the event special!
Prompt, professional, would highly recommend !
Zach is a very gifted violinist. We had hired him last minute for a surprise serenade for a 70Th birthday party. His music was not only beautiful, but filled with depth and emotion. It brought our guest of honor, as well as everyone else at the restaurant, to tears. Thank you Zach for a wonderful performance and for working with us in creating the perfect song choice. I would highly recommend Zach to anyone.
Zach was awesome. Very professional and a great musician. Thank you for making our wedding amazing.
Zachary did another great job for us in Monroe, MI. We can't thank him enough for helping us to deliver our program with excellent musical support. The congregation gave nothing but great comments about the music.
We depend on local musicians to help us on our tours and Zachary, along with Shannon Hughes, did a great job to complete our program.
Zachary is nothing less than professional and a top notch musician.
Zach is a significant professional violinist. He knew how to complement the piano and vocalist to make the music for our event tremendous. We will look to engage Zach again in the future.

What to Expect
I provide professional musical entertainment available in a variety of styles and with possibilities from solo violin up to string quartet.
I began playing violin at the age of five back in the San Francisco Bay Area. After graduating with highest honors from UC Santa Cruz, I spent a year performing in the area and teaching both privately and for an el Sistema based music program in Santa Cruz. Now that I am in Ann Arbor, I am also teaching for the University's own new el Sistema based program, as well as performing and teaching privately in the area.
In the past, I have played for liturgical settings, studio sessions, weddings, corporate events, theater shows, operas, orchestras, and private parties. I am open to trying new things as well.
Additional Booking Notes
Classical ensembles typically do not perform with amplification, but if a client requires it, they must provide a PA and microphones.
