Hello! We are an eclectic cello duo with decades of experience across genres, stages, and environments. We play on both Baroque and Modern cellos. We really enjoy obscure Baroque music, beautiful romantic tunes, and of course we like to rock like the beloved 2Cellos with tunes from the White Stripes and Nirvana and many others. We enjoy a good challenge so don't hesitate to inquire about our repertoire!
Plays quite a variety of music. It was wonderful and my daughter (the bride) was very happy.
Response from You Had Me at Cello:
Thank you so much, Mary! I had a wonderful time. Everyone was so nice. Your daughter and the whole bridal party were just gorgeous. The day could not have been any more beautiful. 💙
Performers Mandy Majtan and Bryan Eckenrode were very well received by our community at large. We will look forward to their return.
Amanda played for my Dad's funeral, one of our last few WWII Navy Veterans. She did a beautiful job and was such a pleasure to work with. Her professionalism and talent were equal to her kindness and consideration she gave to this most meaningful event for our family.
Response from You Had Me at Cello:
Thank you so much, Diana! It was an honor to play for you and your family.
Absolutely incredible and our guests loved you! Beautiful playing and so professional… THANK YOU!
Response from You Had Me at Cello:
Thank you so much, Emily! I had a really great time. I absolutely love playing at this venue. Everything was beautiful. -Mandy
We were so pleased with Mandy . She played beautifully, was very professional and a lovely person. We felt very fortunate to have her at our event.
Response from You Had Me at Cello:
Hi Linda! Thank you so much for your kind review. I have a wonderful time playing for all of you at this gorgeous venue! I could have played there all day! Thanks so much for having me.
Amanda was great to work with when she performed for us. Our church hired her to play during Advent in 2020, at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. Since we were streaming church on Facebook Live, we hired solo musicians to play during our services. Amanda arrived early, played exactly what we wanted (beautifully), and wore the mandated mask - lovely person.
Response from You Had Me at Cello:
Thank you, Linda! I really enjoyed my time during the Advent service. It was beautifully done. It was so wonderful to spend time with such kind and lovely people. Thanks, again!
Great job Amanda! Lots of wonderful comments from guests. Thx for working within our ‘shortened version’ wedding.
Hope you had a great holiday with your family.
Response from You Had Me at Cello:
Thank you, Mary! I had a wonderful time. Everyone was so kind. I feel great to be part of this special celebration!
Performer was communicative and accommodating to the play set. It was a lovely evening!
Response from You Had Me at Cello:
Thank you, Mateo! I am so happy to meet you and Amanda and play for you two. That was such a romantic and sweet setting. Nice job!
