Yao-Magic Eastern Ensemble

Yao Lu is a guzheng artist, composer, and educator based in the Atlanta area. Her work centers on contemporary presentations of traditional Chinese music, blending classical repertoire with modern arrangements and original compositions.

She specializes in solo guzheng performances as well as projects featuring guzheng and dizi, offering flexible formats ranging from elegant background ambiance to featured concert-style presentations. Her original works draw inspiration from Chinese mythology and cultural heritage, presented through a refined and accessible musical language.

Yao Lu is the founder of Magic Eastern Music Studio, a creative and educational platform and the Chinese Instruments Program of W.E. Music Academy. Through performance, education, and original production, her work is frequently featured in cultural events, school programs, and community celebrations across the Southeast.
