Janai (Yannae) Kemp is a certified and experienced Health and Wellness Coach, a Master Transformation Specialist, an educator, an author, a podcaster and producer, and, most notably, an award winning motivational speaker and workshop moderator.
He sits as the Vice Chair on the Board of Directors of the Next Level Empowerment Program, and is currently the Student Programs
Director at NXTHVN.
His overall mission is to encourage people from all walks of life—particularly young adults and black males—to take control of their own success through a journey of personal transformation.
Yannae’s story is one of millions; a story of early struggles and challenges amidst racism, homelessness, and drugs. But it is also a story of constant reinvention, optimism, and a willingness to succeed. A reinvention that he now labels as emotional and personal wealth. At the age of 22, his reinvention took him on a sabbatical journey where he established self-development methods and a spiritual practice that helped him achieve sobriety, and finally acquire stability. Soon after, he became a Hip Hop educator in a Connecticut high school, and used his creative ability to write, produce, direct, and star in several productions.
