I like to add a little touch of quirkinesses to my performances because I am a clown in the inside and it also showcase my personality, that being said do not get me wrong. I take what I do very seriously and am a perfectionist. And it would also depend on the event. Keeping it professional. Always.

My name is Darla but I go by Yadjeen, I am an entertainer at heart. It’s what I do. Born in a small inland in the Carribbean I was surrounded by tropical and folk music but I am a rocker at heart, though I sing a variety of different genres. Versatility is important to me because there is not only one world. Each and everywhere you go is a different world. Trust me, I am what you are looking for. Where I grew up, talent goes to waste, and I’ve always refused for mine to go to waste aswell. And I still do. Music has got me through most of it. It’s therapeutic to me, it makes me want to live and fulfill what I call my destiny and no one or nothing but myself will stop me. With the platform that I will one day acquire, I want to preach the gospel of music. I know it has touched people like it has me, and I know that it is a healer. It just needs to be found and used properly. It all starts with your heart, beat. My second calling is also to help others and I know that with music, I will be able to. I am only sixteen years old and in my country I am but a child but to me, I am a child of music. Music is me. A little goth with a sprinkle of punk and metal while adding the salt of the Carribbean sea to fill up the Island girl and tropical sounds of my life would perfectly describe me.

I always perform with a stand. It’s mostly what I need. But I do have a thing for lights. I really much enjoy red lights. The performances and the tone of the song determines the lights but red and blue lights should always be on the go!
