Her poetry matches where you are, speaks on those hidden things never spoken, and gives insight and direction on who you want to be. Her poetry isn’t just words spoken to appeal to the ear, but they are solution based, emotionally driven, and written with the objective of speaking truths from the heart. Wireless or handheld microphone with strong clarity and low handling noise (XLR preferred; no lapel or headset mics).
Mic stand (preferably adjustable)—this is essential, especially for spoken word pacing and hand gestures.
Clear stage monitors or in-ear monitors (if available) so you can hear your delivery with no delay or distortion.
No vocal effects such as auto-tune or reverb unless specifically requested for artistic purposes.
Sound check minimum 30 minutes before doors open.
