Overview
I have experience in many styles of music from Broadway-Classical-Doo Wop-Oldies-Classic Country-R&B-Rock N Roll. I have played guitar for 17 years and piano for 10. My favorite musicians to cover are folks in the vein of Roy Orbison, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, The Beatles, Elvis, The Rondelles- really anything from the 1950s & 60s, I also play my own accompaniment. I can be hired to play background music for any sort of charity event or place that may need it. I am also trained in musical theater/Broadway, if you may be looking for a vocalist in this style for possible singing telegrams or a theatrical night of sorts.

Megan sang for our 50's themed Valentine's day party at the post-acute facility at which I work. She has an amazing, powerful voice and infectious smile. She provided me with an extensive list of songs that she performs and chose the best ones to really get the folks excited, singing and clapping. She interacted with the guests and staff effortlessly. She even came dressed the part in her poodle skirt! Staff, guests and families alike enjoyed her performance. Megan definitely gives her all when she performs. I would certainly book her again for future events.

What to expect
My performance is always aimed to help the audience feel as though they are being brought to a time & place of nostalgia, wonderment & fun. I am adaptable to any style of performance, I can be very interactive with the crowd or be more of a background musician whatever you may be looking for. I like to create a warm stage presence & I am very passionate about what I sing.
About
I am a multi instrumentalist, I play guitar, piano, drums, bass & percussion & I sing! If i were an octopus I could be a one woman band! I have been performing since the the age of 5, singing & acting ever since then. I picked up the guitar at age 14 & haven't stopped playing since. For 8 years I have performed as a live musician in a few successful bands in Los Angeles, CA and Portland, OR. I have toured up & down the United States many times & have had quite a following and many good memories from my other musical endeavors. Currently Woodwinds is my own project that I had on the back burner for many years & now am putting all of my focus and energy into. The Woodwinds sound is ever evolving & is currently sounding a bit like 80's Madonna/Bat For Lashes/Kate Bush & the Twin Peaks soundtrack all rolled into one. I am open to play all sorts of sounds from old country & folk to early Rock N Roll to modern pop. I hope to have a D.I. unit, PA & monitor wherever I perform & a microphone or two for larger gigs which require a more powerful speaker system. For smaller events 20-50 people, I can supply all of the gear for sound.

Holiday songs, any set list you desire! As long as I have a week to prepare the songs, it can be done! Anything from the 1950s-60s. If I am informed a week or two in advance what you are looking for then I can for sure make some songs happen. Any classic country, R&B or Broadway style musical performances, or I am able to do instrumental jams of my own music that I write.
