What to Expect
As an overview of our service, you will receive the 2 hour Woodstock Revisited experience, which includes the band, costumes, and their PA system. For very large venues, the client will supply the PA system. This performance will feature authentic renditions of the songs that were performed at Woodstock, The Monterey Pop Festival, and Altamont. The focus will be on Woodstock, but the other festivals shaped it's position as the best festival ever. You will hear actual PA announcements from the original concert, as well as festival facts talked about throughout the show. We encourage our audiences to wear tie dye and join us, in recreating the feel and look of the original concert. We make it a fun event for all ages to attend... Yes, this is a kid friendly show! The musicians will sound and perform as professionals. This band has performed over 20 years at Hot August Nights in Reno. This is not a weekend warrior garage band.
Woodstock Revisited has been an evolution! Four musicians that have been performing songs by the various artists of the Woodstock Festival for many years. The idea of putting it all together in an interactive media and audience production came about in 2012. Performing songs from Jefferson Airplane, Joe Cocker, Santana, Country Joe, Jimi Hendrix, Canned Heat, Sly Family Stone, Crosby Stills & Nash, Janis Joplin, Arlo Guthrie, Mountain and more. The audience is cascaded back to 1969 with the music, PA announcements (from the festival), video, costuming of the band. Audiences coming to a Woodstock Revisited performance are encouraged to wear their "tie dye", and join in the EXPERIENCE!
