Catherine Leggitt is an author and inspirational speaker presently residing in Lodi. She began writing in her golden retirement years. Her debut novel, "Payne & Misery," won second place at the Southern California Writer’s Conference in 2010, which led to publication of the Christine Sterling Mysteries—a cozy mystery trilogy. The other two books in the series are "The Dunn Deal," and "Parrish the Thought". She compiled a biography of Sam Contino in 2014 called “Street Smarts”. Mountainview Books released Catherine’s latest book, ”The Road to Terminus” in 2015. Writing led Catherine to the podium for the past five years where she loves to expand themes from her novels in a ministry she calls Women Walking in Faith.
In addition to writing and speaking, Catherine is the mother of three brilliant children who have collectively produced six incredible grandchildren. (Pictures are always available upon request.) An avid Bible student, Catherine serves as Children’s Supervisor at Bible Study Fellowship and as a member of the prayer team at her church. Besides being passionate about writing and reading, she loves zip lining and has a great desire to travel more—especially to any place a zip-line over the jungle might be available.
