With Love From Heidi: Live Painting

Five stars really isn’t enough but it was the most we could give! Heidi was so amazing from start to finish. She met with us ahead of the wedding so she could make sure to capture our values and get an image that made our special day even better. On the day of the wedding she was there early, with plenty of time to scope out the venue and find the perfect place to capture the moment. Her presence was so calming amidst all the chaos! Our guests loved watching her work and were so intrigued by the concept of having a live painter (as was I!). They were also so impressed at the fact that the painting really looked like us! (I mean… that IS the idea, right? Lol) Heidi delivered the final painting to us in a beautiful wrapping that looked almost too good to open. I would highly recommend her to any couples considering a live painter for your wedding- you won’t be disappointed!

Heidi did a live painting at my wedding in November of 2021. The whole experience was absolutely incredible! Working with Heidi was a breeze. She walked us through the whole process, keeping it very stress-free for me, and had a smooth time working with our coordinator and venue. Our guests were so taken with the whole event! They would gather around throughout the wedding to watch the painting happen right before their eyes from start to finish. People got a real kick out of spotting themselves in the crowd on the canvas! We completley adore our finished painting and have it hanging on our living room wall. It's a one of a kind piece that means the world to us. Heidi is not only an amazing artist, but just an all around great and lovely person. Having her attend the wedding was our honour! Heidi made an absolutely beautiful painting during my wedding this past August. As a professional dancer, it was so special to be celebrated by a fellow artist in this way. My guests were also delighted to watch Heidi work throughout the evening. She took such care in selecting the perfect moment from our sunset photos for the portrait. I loved how it turned out, perfectly capturing the rustic romantic setting. Not only do I highly recommend her work, but working with her was a dream. Her care for her craft and fulfilling our hopes for the piece shined through in every interaction. The process was a delight from start to finish!
