Wine-A-Palooza: Wine Tasting & Education

Wine-A-Palooza was the best decision I made when planning my event - it was a client appreciation party for my real estate business. My guests would be VIP clients, some of whom would know no one else at the event. It was a casual-elegant rooftop affair with approx. 40 guests, and a wide range of experience with wine, from novice to expert. Kirk was Exceptional. He took great care during the planning stages to be sure he understood my needs, vision and budget. His suggestions improved things immensely, and his knowledge of wine ensured we had something for every taste. He played "greeter" for me, approaching guests with a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival, and helping make sure all were warmly welcomed. Throughout the event, he engaged with guests, taking cues and "reading the room" to help me make sure everyone had a great time. Some guests were very serious about experiencing the full tasting and gaining an education about the wines, others just chose their favorite varietal and were there to socialize - Kirk was perfect in facilitating the mood and the flow for everyone according to their interest and personality.

On the practical side, he made my life so easy, as he was very "self-contained", bringing in everything he needed (glassware, tables, table cloths, ice, waters, etc) and cleaning up and packing out afterward. The reviews were all raves from my guests, and I am looking forward to working with Kirk and Wine-A-Palooza again and again!

Kirk Green has presented several wine-tasting events for us. He is a consummate professional. He brings the glasses and spit buckets and sets everything up in advance. He's a great presenter who knows how to mix just the right amount of facts with the tasting. Attendees come away smiling and having learned something interesting.

We love the classes that Kirk teaches. Not only does he have some much wine knowledge to pass on, he makes it so fun doing just that!

I contacted Kirk Green with Wine-A-Palooza with a last minute wine sampling/tasting for my bridal shower. Kirk responded within minutes with a quote and asked if I had any questions. Unfortunately, since my event request was within 48 hours, he was already booked for another engagement; however, he immediately contacted other consultants who might have been able to work my event. Sadly, since the event was so soon, no other wine consultants were available. But that did not stop Kirk from helping me! Although he could not provide the service in-person at my venue, he wanted to make sure I still had a great tasting! Thus, he provided a shopping list of wines, specific recommendations on cheese and chocolate pairings and emailed a 10-page list of directions for my guests to use while they sip!!!!
I am looking forward to booking him for my actual wedding in August and showing my appreciation in person!
