With over six years of professional event performance experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance from the University of Georgia, Willow & String brings a unique musical experience to any event. As a solo violinist, I have performed events such as weddings, private events, solo recitals, and proposals to name a few. I also work as a violin and piano teacher in the Athens and Atlanta area, where I have taught for over 7 years.
In addition to performing soloistically, I also play in various groups that range in styles from Middle Eastern, Latin, Appalachian, and classical. Customized ensemble bookings can be curated to suit the atmosphere and scale of your event.

I usually arrive at least 30 minutes early with my own equipment as it is quite minimal (instrument, mic, stand, and ipad). If it's necessary for me to bring my own speaker, I can certainly do so with at least a week's notice before the date!
Depending on the space (indoor/outdoor), room acoustics, and expected noise level, I can play either acoustically or with a mic! If I am with a larger group of musicians (3 or more), being miced is usually not necessary.
