If you hire me for recording, I will prepare and deliver great sounding professional level recordings promptly for whatever project you are working on.

If you hire me for a performance, I will put a great sounding professional band together, communicate promptly with you leading up to your event, and bring a quality and event-appropriate performance to your event.

I live in Denver, CO, and play in a wide variety of projects on the front range. I play a with a lot of songwriters, indie bands, and in a variety of different jazz and contemporary improvised music projects.

I’m currently looking to add more remote and in-studio recording projects to my calendar. I am comfortable playing most styles and play both the upright and electric bass. Though my degree is in jazz and American improvised music, I studied classical music while in college and would love to put down arco parts for something you are working on. I am a competent reader, and can play and read written parts you have, as well as write and perform my own parts if that is what the situation calls for.

I would also be happy to put together a jazz ensemble for any event (duo, trio, quartet, quintet, sextet).

I play a fully carved upright bass, and am currently using a AKG c414 and a WA-47 for recording bass through a UA Apollo. I use a 70s Fender Jazz, 2000s Fender Mustang PJ, and a Peavey Cirrus 5 for recording electric.
