Whiskey Raccoons

We are happy to not only provide music, but also will turn on Spotify to play music when we take breaks. I can also Emcee events, make any announcements needed, etc...

We are the Whiskey Raccoons, an Acoustic Duet. We met on Craigslist in October 2014, scary! Thankfully neither of us were “Craigslist Creepers” and we formed a band.
Cara is from St. Louis, Missouri and has been a performer since she can remember. She began dancing and singing for her family in front of the family fireplace when she was 2. Cara went on to take dance (5 years), play the flute (4 years), become a gymnast and cheerleader (6 years), perform in musicals (2 years) and sing in a band (5 years) - always performing and entertaining others!
Johnnie was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois where he began playing guitar at the age of 11 and played his first live gig at 17. John comes from a musical family with both his mother and father being in a band when they were younger. John plays acoustic guitar, electric guitar, ukulele, and bass guitar.
The Whiskey Raccoons had our first show in December 2014 and have played hundreds of gigs since then. We have 12 original songs and cover hundreds of popular songs from the 60s all the way up to today in all genres of music and customize playlists depending on the venue we're playing.
We've played music all over Missouri and have also played gigs in Illinois, Arkansas, Indiana, Nashville and more.
We recorded our first original album (12 songs) in Nashville and released it in February 2017.
Our home base is St. Louis, where we've played at venues such as the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten, St. Louis Art Museum, Local STL Festivals, STL Mardi Gras 2018, Botanical Gardens, Tin Roof and more!

We also do many private parties, weddings, receptions and more.

We're open to lighting, staging and sound that you provide. None of it is necessary, but we're open to having those items if available.
