Whiskey Before Breakfast

When an audience comes to see us they'll see knee slapping, head boppin' energy coming from these skilled musicians playing traditional Irish tunes.

Whiskey Before Breakfast is a high spirited traditional Irish band from Lancaster, PA playing reels and jigs, hornpipes, and songs. The core of the group is Michael Filippo on guitar and vocals, Beatrix Greiner on accordion and vocals, and Chris Devitry on fiddle and vocals. They can perform as a trio acoustically or electrically. They also perform as a quartet, quintet, and sextet depending on what the client will prefer. The added instruments include Murphy on flutes and whistle and LJ on bodhran. They have performed for intimate performance rooms as well as auditoriums and festivals.

Whiskey Before Breakfast will also play original songs composed by the band members as well as traditional bluegrass tunes, folk and country tunes. In this type of repertoire they are known as the band name "Bon Accord." They also have quite an extensive gypsy jazz repertoire and have performed gigs drawing from all these genres. They perform in Lancaster County as well as any city within a two hour radius.
