We engage you with lyrical and melodic intricacy, counter-pointed and complex guitar work, vocals with grit, intimacy and power, original songs that encourage you, romance you, make you think. "West Montrose" is the combination of Ward Brownell and Scott Grainger.
Scott is a Nashville recorded artist with 30 years of song writing experience and dozens of original songs to his credit, bringing rhythmic groove, lyrical alchemy and a versatile voice to his observations of love, faith and the challenges of being human.
Ward is a guitar virtuoso, with range from the most delicate classical lines to the most expressive Telecaster solos. Ward delivers carefully crafted chord voicings and leads which suggest a second human voice.
