Overview
Whether you're planning a milestone birthday party, a silver or golden anniversary, a corporate function, or a private celebration, I go above and beyond. Using high-quality backing tracks and custom lighting, I play favourites from the 1940s to the 2000s as a singer and guitarist. Audience members get to send requests from pass-around menus. Custom lighting creates ambience and atmosphere, and I work with you in the weeks before the event to ensure everything is perfect. I also play ambient instrumental/fingerstyle guitar from jazz, classical, movie themes and acoustic rock. Customer service from start to finish is my top priority.

What to expect
I will work with you from the very start to ensure you feel great about choosing to work with me. This includes a phone/video chat in advance where I learn more about your event, preparation, technical guidance for hosting/setting up an in-person or online performance all the way through to its conclusion. I deliver a professional and prepared presentation, with quality performance as a top priority.
About
My act is like a Spotify playlist. I provide a menu of over 300 of the best upbeat tunes from the 1940s through to today. I can create the perfect setlist for you or you can have your guests choose, in real time, as the show goes on, what they want to hear. I get everyone singing along and feeling groovy and I will always prepare a special request or two for the host and the guest of honour.
Of course, I treat each gig as a serious business engagement, meaning I will meet with you by phone or by video chat in advance to learn more about your needs and any special requests, and whenever possible I will visit the location in advance as well. I am also able to give full step-by step guidance for virtual sessions on how to set up a video chat / virtual environment event for your guests wherever they are joining from.
For the event, I show up prepared, ready, and properly dressed, and will make sure that the performance reflects the theme of your evening. I play a couple of different guitars, acoustic, 12-string acoustic, and sometimes an electric guitar on an acoustic setting, through a professional portable PA. Most tunes are supported by high quality backing tracks and harmony vocals, with a few titles reserved for just me and my guitar, because they sound best that way. I also bring a second mic and a lyric screen for guests who want to get up and sing a tune or two with me.
I have been a professional performer for 30 years, as a keynote speaker, a voice actor and most favorite of all, as a singer and musician. This means my whole career has been about putting on a great performance to satisfy an audience and to help event planners know they have made the right choice. I am here to make you look good and to take away the stress and the unknowns that come with putting on a show. And, of course, to give guests and audiences a memorable and fun time.
Additional booking notes
I bring a PA, microphones, a few guitars with stands, and a lighting rig which varies in size depending on the location.
