Overview

I am a classically trained pianist (18+ years) with a Bachelor’s degree in music from the College of Saint Benedict (piano performance, minor in theology) and a Master’s in the Art of Teaching (MAT - PACE program, University of Portland). I have 12 years of experience as an accompanist in church and school settings (weddings, funerals, Mass, religious services) mostly Catholic, but some experience in other denominations. I can play the piano for your wedding, a funeral, any general church service, school programs, background piano for rehearsal dinners or receptions, etc. I am super flexible and adaptable to different venues and experiences, and look forward to working with you!

Exceptional!

From the moment she arrived, she was completely prepared and brought such a calm, warm presence into our home. Her playing was absolutely beautiful and set the perfect tone for our intimate family gathering. Beyond her incredible talent, she was kind, gracious, and genuinely connected with our family, which meant so much to us. She truly helped make my mom’s 90th birthday celebration feel meaningful, special, and unforgettable. We are so grateful for the music and the heart she brought to this milestone day.

What to expect

I am professional and flexible and open to new opportunities! I can play from piano scores/sheet music as well as from chords/lead sheets!

About

I worked as an accompanist with the St. John’s Boys’ Choir and St. John’s Campus Ministry. Most recently, I taught as a general music teacher (K-8) at a Catholic school in Seattle. Along with teaching general music, I accompanied for student Masses, planned and directed school programs, directed the Junior High Choir, and taught piano club (group piano lessons). I have some training and experience with voice and organ as well.

Additional booking notes

I prefer if a piano is provided, but have a keyboard I can travel with if needed (depending on event size and location).
