In helping plan a Celebration of the Memory of my father’s life, one year to the date he left us, I knew we needed a very special person to sing two songs. I chose I Look to You by Whitney Houston, followed by The Prayer. Waseme performed both songs impeccably. We had a four dove release after she sang The Prayer to end our day. Waseme embodies professionalism and her voice is amazing. Everyone cannot sing a Whitney Houston song. Waseme can! Our family and friends loved her. If in doubt, release it and book her. She will not disappoint you.

Waseme visited my Grandmother’s Rehabilitation Center and put on a show for the residents and I happened to be visiting at the time and I was touched by her warm spirit and beautiful voice. I’ve trained in both Classical Voice and Musical Theater, building a strong foundation in vocal technique, piano, and performance arts. My education has provided me with the skills and versatility to perform a wide range of musical genres, from classical to contemporary.
As a versatile vocalist, I specialize in performing Southern & Contemporary Gospel, R&B, and inspirational covers. With a passion for bringing heartfelt music to life, I cater to a variety of functions including weddings, holiday parties, live band performances, private proposals, and singing telegrams. My goal is to create memorable moments with every note, ensuring each event is unique and unforgettable.
Drawing from a diverse array of influences, including the likes of Denice Williams, Whitney Houston, Yolanda Adams, Toni Braxton, Jennifer Hudson, and a host of other legendary artists, I have cultivated a sound that is uniquely my own—a seamless fusion of soul-stirring melodies, impassioned delivery, and unwavering authenticity.
As a vocalist, —it is a ministry, a calling to touch the hearts and souls of audiences around the world. Additional Booking Notes
For performances, all I need is my voice and a Mic. I have my own quality sound equipment for telegrams and all performances. I am good to go!!! No need to worry or stress : ) I DO NOT require you to provide a professional setup including adequate lighting, staging, and sound equipment. Of course, optimal lighting enhances the ambiance and visibility, while a high-quality sound system ensures clear and immersive audio.
I have my own state-of-the-art Bose sound system and microphone setup, which I provide if necessary, along with backing tracks. With this setup, I ensure a seamless and captivating experience for both myself and the audience.
